I have a pretty normal average teenage life. Filled with sports and activities, I don't have much of a social life because of all of the things I do. A list of all the major things I do are: 1.Softball Softball is my life, I don't know where I would be if it weren't for all of the years that I spent playing or practicing that sport. I have played softball ever since I was a little kid. I went to a traveling team when I was in 4th grade. Ever since then I have been on a traveling team in the summer and in the fall. I love playing softball, I have made so many new friends playing softball and most of them are great people. I know that I only have a few more years to play since I am not going to play in college, so I know that I have to always try my hardest and go 110%. I have to earn my spot and then Ihave to show the coaches that it was a good choice putting me where they put me.
2. Rodeo
Another thing I have done since I was a little kid was rodeo. I love to rodeo, but that all stopped when I started to get really competitive in softball. With them being in the same season I had to quit rodeo and play softball. So I had to just winter rodeo for a few years. Little did I know that would all change when I got into middle school and high school. I became involved in so many activities I didn't have time to rodeo at all. I just got to go to a few barrel races here and there. This year I have cut down on sports and activities, so now I am just in FFA and softball. So this winter after a lot of hard work I finally get to rodeo again in the CPRA. I am hoping to get a rodeo scholarship to help me out when I go to a good college.
3. 4-H
I have been in 4-H for many years, I started out in the Buhler 4-H club, then moved to the Thomadora 4-H club, but now I am not in any club, I jsut show my animals through FFA. I have shown many animals at the county fair and I have had the priviledge to go to the state fair with my horse too. Horses, sheep, goats, cows, poultry, and rabbits are all the animals I have shown at the county fair. I have learned a lot from being in 4-H. Last year I was the VP of the Horse Club which has helped me out so much. It has helped me with my people skills, and my skills in Par-law. If it weren't for 4-H I wouldn't know how to handle all those animals, or have as good people skills.
All of those things that I do will all come together and help me out in the long run. Especially since I want to go to Kansas State University, even though Oklahoma State University is my dream school, and become a vet. I have a lot of long term goals in life that a lot of people have doubted and don't belive that I will be able to fulfil my dreams. But one day I am. I am going to become a vet, and then move down to Texas where I will live and work for the rest of my life. I don't care what people think about my goals. Most people think I am just crazy, maybe I am. But one day I am going to prove every person that ever doubted me wrong.
